Sumera Khan is a Canadian contemporary artist and an urban sketcher who works primarily with oils. She enjoys painting subjects that transcend conventional boundaries, capturing themes with unparalleled depth and emotion.

After graduating in Visual Arts with Honours from the University of Toronto, Khan began practicing as a full time professional artist, albeit after a brief pause, with a fascination for human emotions and mental health experiences. Now she paints a variety of subjects including portraiture, plein air, interior spaces and still life. Through her impressionistic style of brushwork and keen observation, she infuses her works with a sense of curiosity focusing on light & color painting moments and spaces captured in time.
